Study in Canada: Your Student Visa Guide

Types of Canada Student Visas

To study in Canada, you need to apply for a Study Permit. This permit allows international students, including Pakistanis, to study at a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada.

  • Study Permit: This is not a visa, but a permit that allows you to study in Canada. You also need a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) depending on your country of origin, which will be issued once your permit is approved.

Most Pakistani students will apply for the Study Permit to pursue their education in Canada.
